ARTISTIC CONCEPT
In the lead-up to the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, Mathieu Forget became an ambassador for Paris 2024 and launched an artistic project blending sport and dance. His concept: "Making Sport Fly."
Over more than 3 years, he toured the venues that would host the Games and collaborated with over 40 French and international athletes to showcase their disciplines through his photos and videos. During the Paris 2024 Games, his work was exhibited across 8 different exhibitions in France and abroad, receiving international acclaim. The book Sport In The Air was published by the artist in November 2024 to close this remarkable chapter.

THE STORY BEHIND THE EXHIBITION
Making Sport Fly, or Sport in the Air, was born from both an artistic and physical pursuit: capturing the precise moment when the body temporarily escapes gravity.
As both an athlete and an artist, Mathieu Forget has always been fascinated by those fractions of a second invisible to the naked eye - those suspended moments when a sporting gesture reaches its peak.
Jumping, rising, launching forward: sport is a constant battle against the weight of the body, but also a quest for balance and freedom.

LOAN TERMS & TECHNICAL CONDITIONS
- Signing of a loan agreement required
- Insurance certificate covering the works for the duration of the exhibition
- Loan period: 1 week to 3 months (adaptable depending on the project)
- Round-trip transport: at the borrower's expense (collection point in Seine-Maritime (76), near Rouen, 1.5 hours from Paris)

Mathieu Forget is a multidisciplinary artist. Originally from Paris, he is a dancer, photographer, and filmmaker who embodies a new vision of dance, capturing its very essence in his visual work. His art: freezing in a photograph an ephemeral moment of his body in levitation.
Mathieu Forget strives to promote freedom of expression and self-surpassing, challenging our perception of the world. Also known as the "Flying Man," through his photos and videos this artist defies the laws of physics and blurs the boundaries between styles.
