What happens when a dancer picks up a camera and decides to defy gravity? For ten years, Mathieu Forget, @forgetmat, has answered that question image by image, city by city, body by body.
LEVITATION is the retrospective of this vertiginous decade: a visual and intimate journey across continents, collaborations, and the metamorphoses of an artist in full flight. From New York to Tokyo, Paris to Los Angeles, and across the ice expanses of Antarctica, this book brings together the most striking photographs from Mathieu Forget's body of work. Without trickery, without post-production alterations to flight, each image captured in a fraction of a second is at once an athletic feat and an artistic performance. A dedicated chapter focuses on the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, for which the artist produced an exclusive series of photographs alongside athletes.
Enriched by testimonials from figures drawn from sport, dance, and the visual arts, LEVITATION is not merely a coffee-table book: it is a manifesto for freedom, movement, and the surpassing of oneself.

Each order (books, postcards, or prints) is prepared with the utmost care in our atelier-laboratory, then hand-packed by our team. Mathieu Forget and his collaborators pay special attention to every detail, with the intention of offering an experience as singular and personal as the works themselves.
All parcels are shipped from our Paris office (France) and entrusted to our shipping partners (Mondial Relay, UPS, Colissimo, FedEx, DHL, etc.) for worldwide delivery.
The book will begin shipping on Monday, June 15th, with the intention of arriving ideally before July 1st.
